Concept studies for environment and foliage assets for film and games projects. My work includes extensive worldwide field and site surveying from land topology records to individual botanical asset research. I take real world research into comprehensive asset layout sheets with data including specimen type, locality, habitat, dimensions / scale, iterations, colour palettes, surface textures / quality, growth habits, seasonal variations etc. My research is used both by myself in 3D asset creation as well as giving clear, informative guidelines to art development teams.
