‘Red Chillis’

35cm x 50cm Watercolours on Langton rougher paper

This piece was an extra special painting, created for an Italian keyworker battling the first Covid outbreak in Burundi.

I was over the moon to be asked to paint this sign of good luck, a red chilli pepper! My sister Carolyn asked me to paint this as a gift to her Italian friend Luca who is a nurse currently working in Burundi and unable to get home due to the closed borders. It was an honour to do this for him.
