'Snowdrops at Dark Entry, Knowsley Hall':

The most magical of little flowers! There are at least 5 cultivars here at the estate, they can be found in these typical clumps as well as in expanses of white carpet through the woodlands. This is the first in a series of paintings depicting the plant life here, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the year of the birth of the 13th Earl of Derby and his significant support of the artist Edward Lear.

There will be some limited edition prints available.
